Bartok will not be happy that you didn't find Brann, but at least you didn't come back empty-handed. Now, let's see what we can do about this babbling dwarf.
When Brann wrote Lands of Conflict, on page 27 he writes that every explorer should have at least a passing fluency in all the major languages of Azeroth. By the end of the Second War, he considered himself conversational in the orc tongue.
It is very strange that the quest designers would choose to not have Brann know Orcish, and even stranger that they chose to have Brann speak Dwarven of all things to someone who is clearly NOT a member of the Alliance, when in the Alliance version (), he speaks in Common.
