Stardust Spire is an Alliance outpost located in southern Ashenvale, north of Talondeep Pass in the Stonetalon Mountains. It contains survivors of the Horde takeover of Silverwind Refuge, led by Huntress Jalin, who are using the outpost as a base from which to launch attacks against the Horde. The residents of the outpost are primarily night elf Sentinels and members of a gnome explosives squad sent from Tinker Town. The flight master has connections to Astranaar, Thal'darah Overlook, Windshear Hold, and Nijel's Point.

The spire consists of a shored up sentry tower, and the watchtower sits atop the remains of a bigger structure.[1]

During the War of the Thorns, the retreat was attacked by the Horde.[2] During the course of the Fourth War when Alliance soldiers continued pouring into Ashenvale, Horde champions were sent to investigate Stardust Spire for any weaknesses and encountered Rukua here.[3] Sergeant Dontrag led a Horde assault against the spire but was encountered by Alliance champions.[4] Jalin led her Sentinels against the Horde-controlled Silverwind Refuge.[5]

After the war, the place was observed by Zekhan from a safe distance and spotted Huntress Jalin leading her Sentinels. According to Horde reports, they destroyed every siege weapon the Horde brought down from the Stonetalon Mountains. She left the bones of the machines and the bodies of the engineers at the doorstep of the spire as a warning to her enemies.[1]
