The Stonemaul Ruins (previously known as Stonemaul Village) are the former home of the Stonemaul ogres. The original village was destroyed by members of Onyxia's brood. The ogre leader, Overlord Mok'Morokk led his people away from the ruin and established a new home to the north called Brackenwall Village.
Brogg, the Stonemaul Survivor, unhappy with Mok'Morokk's inactivity with regard to seeking vengeance against Onyxia's brood, has set up camp in Mudsprocket and seeks assistance from adventurers in his quest.
In Warcraft III
In Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, the unnamed Stonemaul village was its own sub-map in the Old Hatreds mission of the Founding of Durotar campaign. The tribe's ogre magi and priests lived in the upper part of the settlement and maintained their own Magic Shop. The village was also home to a grand ogre arena and a Gauntlet valley filled with powerful monsters, including a large quilboar community led by a giant Razormane Chieftain, jungle stalkers and sasquatch living together, as well as giant thunder lizards and wildkin.

In the RPG
