Suppression is a passive warlock ability that reduces spell pushback by 70% while casting or channeling any spell. It is not shown in the User Interface for an unknown reason. This ability replaces old talents that would reduce the pushback of specific spells, such as and .
Originally, Suppression was a 5-point talent that reduced a target's chance to resist Affliction spells by up to 10% (Note that this did not affect enemy resistances, but rather your spell hit chance). Patch 3.0.2 changed this into a 3-point talent which increased the chance to hit with all spells by 3% and reduce the mana cost of Affliction spells by 6%.
- Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Talent removed. Changed to a passive ability.
- Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Now increases spell hit for all of your spells.
- Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Is now a 3-point talent, down from 5. Now increases your chance to hit with Affliction spells by 1/2/3%, down from 1/2/3/4/5%.
