Redirect

Right now, "Before the Storm" redirects to patch 2.0.1. Should it be redirected here instead? I'm sure most people who type that in are going to be looking for this book before a patch from BC. ReignTG (talk) 02:44, 12 January 2018 (UTC)

That would be a debate between consistency and other things. Before the Storm is the name for the patch 2.0.1. It'd probably be best to add a {{for}} to the top of the page for the book. — Surafbrov T / C / P 04:53, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
Agreed. Redirect to the book, stick a disambiguation link at the top. -- DarkTZeratul (talk) 05:55, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
I agree as well. Though I do think if we precede with this change we should decide on whether or not to make this the official stance when in comes to situations like this.--X59 (talk) 06:27, 6 April 2018 (UTC)

So what I understand is going to happen is:

  1. Move this article (World of Warcraft: Before the Storm) to Before the Storm as per Forum:Dropping World of Warcraft tag, keep redirect though
  2. Changed related links to point to patch 2.0.1 and vice versa to this book.
  3. Slap a {{for}} on Patch 2.0.1. It's already done.

Timeline

I think the book hints that it happens before the allied races questlines (and the opening of the two embassies). At one point, it says that representatives of all the Horde races were present in the Undercity and it lists orcs, trolls, tauren, belves, goblins, and pandaren. No allied races names are mentioned and given how the book also deals with the factions and its memberships (especially in Anduin's journey) there would be at least a passing reference to new members. As Sylvanas was leading the parade, she went through the drag, valley of wisdom and to the troll area. From there she went to grommash hold. On her way there, she at last met the goblins. This could potentionally mean the goblin slums is still around (will check this one again for any description of the area)

Worth a note? Mordecay (talk) 17:19, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, that sounds noteworthy to me :) Xporc (talk) 11:36, 20 June 2018 (UTC)

Goblins

"There are a lot of goblins in the world. The odds of what you're thinking are approximately 5,233,482 to 1. Someone would have to know your location..."

There are over 5 millions goblins?! --Mordecay (talk) 23:04, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
