- Well, as far as i understand, noone really knows what the Nerubians worshiped. Most Nerubians don't really worship anything any more (and hasn't for a very long time), they instead try to find a more scientific explanation, so the question remains unanswered for now. - The name "Desecrated Altar" says to me that it is not being used for what it was, and as it is an Old God altar of the Twilight's Hammer, that hints it was not for the Old Gods at first. What did the Nerubians worship? WotLK previews says the Old Gods. Kilix the Unraveler says not the Old Gods. The RPG says they worshipped nothing.
