Bear armor enchants

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but do enchants like +120 armor on a cloak count toward the bear armor modifier? Or is that tacked on after all the base armor itself is? --Azaram 08:19, 19 February 2007 (EST)

Any kind of enchant or armor kit or anything that adds to armor is applied AFTER all calculations. So +120 armor really is +120 armor. It's never multiplied. --Darxide (talk) 17:23, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Bear armor nerfed ?

I'm not seeing it in any of the patch notes, but the tooltip on my dire bear form says 'increase armor contribution by 370%'. Not sure if that includes the 10% from thick hide. So we lost almost a quarter of our armor. With changing no gear at all, my armor went from over 30k to 21.9k. --Azaram (talk) 12:19, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Druids and Death Knights got an armor nerf because it was far too easy to hit the armor cap (75% damage reduction) in Wrath. Even after the nerf in partial Naxx 25 gear I'm still at roughly 70% reduction in Dire Bear Form right now, somewhere around 33k armor. --Darxide (talk) 17:23, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

New model

I think we can remove the part about dire bear form getting a new model with wrath. Vthetouch (talk) 16:20, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
