Bestiary Update

You guys are just too quick! :) -- Kirkburn 16:33, 15 June 2006 (EDT)

are there really Fel Orcs in WoW right now? Where? what are these images? -- Shandris 11:44, 13 August 2006 (EDT)

None in-game, but that picture is probably from game files -- Kirkburn 12:36, 13 August 2006 (EDT)
The Fel Orc Blademaster is just a guess in WoWModelView, they won't really look like that. -- Kanaru 2:11, 24 August 2006 (EDT)

"Famous" Fel Orcs?

How in the world are these Fel Orcs famous? They where slaughtered and only seen in one mission of WarCraft III. Saimdusan 16:39, 22 November 2006 (EST)

I agree. I suggest that they be placed under a category, "Fel Orc Bladmasters in Warcraft III". With BC just around the corner, we should have plenty of more important Fel Orcs to fill out that section. --Mikaka 15:51, 9 December 2006 (EST)
I guess the point was that they are named, they are more famous than any non-named "chaos orcs" in warcraft III, :p...Baggins 20:59, 27 December 2006 (EST)

Fel vs. Chaos

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but is there really a difference between Chaos and Fel, other then that Fel is the more recent use? Clearly, it's not a distinction between those that have taken the blood of Manneroth and those that have been corrupted for generations, because 1) the Hordes of the first and second war weren't called Fel Orcs, and 2) the manufactured orcs in Hellfire Citadel are called Fel Orcs, when they most likely have only just been corrupted (though this time by the blood of Magtheridon). Can we just state that Chaos and Fel are used interchangibly by Blizzard, and that Chaos was used to describe the same type of Orc in Warcraft III? --Mikaka 15:51, 9 December 2006 (EST)

Well, term Chaos Orc is used more for orcs under Grom Hellscream that drank from a chaos well during one of the missions of the Horde storyline. They also aren't nearly as mutated as most of the fel orcs in World of Warcraft.Baggins 21:01, 27 December 2006 (EST)
I think they're cool. But does anyone know why the Chaos Orc Slavemaster rides a horse?--MrX HEY! I never wrote this! Oh, nvm that was my old one, I forgot Mr.X's password.(Mr.X8 03:30, 26 May 2007 (UTC))
There's probably no lore reason. Maybe it was just to make him look different to the Far Seers and Raiders. --User:Vorbis/Sig
Baggins, there is no evidence the chaos orcs are less mutated than fel orcs. Remember: the fel orcs in TFT looked exactly like the chaos orcs in RoC. So, what does that mean? It means they likely look the same. Saimdusan 23:20, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

fel orc classes

I do not think its likely that fel orcs have shamans amoung their ranks. When the orcs originally fell under demons influence, shamans were either forced to convert to warlocks of were exiled or killed. --Diggory 12:07, 7 February 2007 (EST)

NM, ive since encountered a dark shaman fel orc. God knows how Bliz thought that lovely contradiction up : / --Diggory 07:41, 8 February 2007 (EST)

Made pacts with the corrupted Elemental spirits, or helped corrupt elemental spirits?Baggins 15:11, 10 April 2007 (EDT)

Its kinda weird there's Fel Orc rogues. And youd think they could be hunters too.Mr.X8 20:55, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

What's wierd about fel orc rogues? Remember the Shadow Council of the First/Second War? And, yes, there are/where evil shamans, except know Chritie Golden's book seems to contradict that... Saimdusan 23:22, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Way I see it is that all lore about how orcs/fel orcs lost touch with shamanism take place when the orcs were under the control of the burning legion. The elements, while they don't care about good or evil, oppose the legion as it seeks to destroy all life, something that would render them impotent. Fel orcs are currently under the control of either illidan or the black dragonflight, both of which oppose the legion dispite being evil, so the elements grant power to the dark shaman.

On another note, rise of the horde suggest that a few orcs started going back to shamanism between the time Kil'Jaeden abandoned them and the time they went through the dark portal, lore stating that Zuluhed and Drek'thar were shaman throughout the time of the second war supports this.Tweak the Whacked 20:26, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

The Frozen Throne Fel Orcs

Unless there is a difference between versions of The Frozeon Throne, a fully patched version of TFT, calls all orcs in Magtheridon's forces in Outland, "Fel Orcs". I just confirmed this. Not sure if there is a difference with an unpatched version of TFT however. I've started updating TFT units to represent this fact.Baggins 20:07, 11 March 2007 (EDT)

Additionally, Chaos orcs created by corruption from the Chaos Well, were not altered in fully patched versions of Warcraft 3. The chaos title is limited to the storyline following Grom Hellscream and the Warsong Clan in Ashenvale forest, and no other orc factions. A couple of other fel orcs seen earlier in Warcraft 3, in the Blackrock clan are not called chaos orcs.Baggins 19:11, 12 March 2007 (EDT)

is there women fel orcs because if there isn't i feel sorry for them and understand why they are so angry (Navras 21:20, 1 July 2007 (UTC))

There almost certainly are. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 21:37, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

weird since i've never seen one...unless they're so ugly they look like men! 0_o (Navras 13:10, 3 July 2007 (UTC))

That's what most fantasy says about dwarven women (it's the beards). We didn't see any human women until Jaina, no elven women until Alleria, and no Tauren, Gnome or Troll women until WoW. They're there, you just don't see 'em. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 13:35, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

The fel orcs in burning crusade are being manufactured unnaturaly. Most were never orcs to begin and the Burning legion probably just chooses to produce the larger of the two sexes. Zarnks 21:03, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Were never orcs to begin? Yes they were. They were the orcs that were left on Draenor when it exploded. They do make artifical ones in the blood furnace, but from orcs. There is an untextured female in the files, it is just the male with long hair.--SWM2448 21:06, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

I said most. Some were former orcs, the rest are made by Mo'arg. Thats how they got those large numbers. Zarnks 21:10, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Made from regular orcs.--SWM2448 21:11, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

No many started out as fel orcs, perhaps clones? Either way most were never regular orcs. Zarnks 21:13, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Have you ran blood furnace? It shows you how they are made. Maybe I am wrong.--SWM2448 21:16, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Thats how they get prexisting recruits. The majority are just made. There aren't enough orcs on draenor to create the fel orc army. Zarnks 21:18, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Reproduction aside, there are females in the files at least.--SWM2448 21:20, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Are you sure they are female if they use the male orc model? Maybe they are transformed into males, that would explain the complete lack of female Fel orcs. Zarnks 21:21, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

You are posting on too many things at once. Satyr? I fixed it. The model name says female.--SWM2448 21:25, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Then I guess it makes them more masculine. Can you post the model? Zarnks 21:27, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Yes.--SWM2448 21:56, 22 August 2007 (UTC)]]

"Some were former orcs, the rest are made by Mo'arg" ... is actually there any evidence of this at all? User:Kirkburn/Sig3 21:40, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

The Maker and the fact there are not enough orcs in Outland to produce an army that big. Zarnks 21:46, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

And that despite the article stating "Inside the Blood Furnace, an instance within Hellfire Citadel, adventurers come to find the process by which they're using Magtheridon's blood to create more fel orcs. They also face a boss named the Maker, who is likely overseeing much of the process." What does the race of the overseer have to do with anything? User:Kirkburn/Sig3 22:04, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Wierd model it looks like a male fel orc crossdresser. Zarnks 22:08, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

How can the fel orcs originally be mo'arg? Ones a demon, ones a humanoid, and the other is all hyped up on technology. And why is the female orc's skin all black? Mr.X8 19:59, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

It is untextured.--SWM2448 20:48, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

And how exactly do you know the population of orcs in Outland Zarnks? It's never been stated and also having no female among themis shouldn't think the game features everything like some people think oh and if we're still at it how do you know the fel orcs are a such A large group,WoW?again game play mechanics (although i guess some quests may explain it:D)(Marakanis)

Look, they exist!: Fel Orc Female.jpg... ok, fine, I made that. I wish Blizzard would finish both the female fel orc and the female broken models and apply them retroactively to random mobs in the game so we'd get some variation :) ---- Varghedin.jpg Varghedin  talk / contribs 11:13, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

In the Dragonmaw?

I've had people say that the Dragonmaw have allied with fel orcs, but others say that the Dragonmaw are their slaves and must be revolted against in one of the quests. Does anyone know what actully happens?--Orcdork (talk) 21:35, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

Some of the Dragonmaw orcs became fel orcs, so the ones that did now see themselves as better and rule over the normal ones. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 00:30, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
