Changes to article

I removed the addons mentioned under UI mods because they were either abandoned or not updated in years.

I also removed mention of Mapwow for two reasons:

  • As nice as it is, it hasn't been updated since WotLK.
  • The page contains advertising for paid services not allowed under Blizzard's ToU.

Lastly, the sub-section Map UI redesigned. Maybe my memory is faulty, but I can't recall that Patch 3.3.0 PTR change making it to live at that time. Is there anyone that could confirm this? -- Alayea (talk / contrib) 23:53, 7 September 2014 (UTC)

The WotLK and MoP maps missing

The WotLK and MoP map UIs are missing.
Also, I consider calling them "world map" misleading and confusing. Maybe, specify it as "world map UI"? Because I think of the map of Azeroth otherwise.
Also, should they really go from the newest to the oldest? Or the other way round as on other pages? Or maybe divide in two - one for the current UI, the other for the discontinued (confusing when Classic is around, however).--Adûnâi (talk) 12:29, 10 July 2019 (UTC)

Merge Map to Maps or vice versa. They're about the same things and can talk about the world maps (such as the world map of Azeroth) or just the maps of Warcraft in general (such as the maps from the Chronicles). For the world map interface, it can be found at Map & Quest Log. — Surafbrov T / P / C 20:08, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
