Aye that's not blubber, thats muscles even with the Draenei Dwarves are the Race with the most STR and STA from the aliance. So they are not fat they just are short and stout ;). SO are thier arms and legs but the shorter they are the stronger they are ;). GO DWARVES :D.User:Dehnus

Lord of the Rings

Moria... like the Mines of Moria? User:Drakonrage

Sign your posts, although technically one definition of "stout" is "fat".Baggins 08:11, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Baggins it's EM-OH-EYE-ARE-AY not M O R I A, a play on the spelling to be sure --User:Miller218

eh? I didn't spell it "Moria", that was Drakenrage... Didn't you notice me telling them to "sign their posts"?Baggins 23:41, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Her kid

What would her kid look like? I mean the dad has an ashy black skin, and the mom is like beige-ish peach.  IconSmall HighElf Male.gif Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 23:20, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Possibly like this huntress (who was deliberately designed to look like she could have some Dark Iron ancestry)? —Qit el-Remel 19:46, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Some of her, and the Emps, quotes are pretty awesome. Especially related to the Dark Iron Baby stuff. Be nice to have some more ties with [1] and what not. --Gmillerd 01:16, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Article reads: Moira Bronzebeard can be located in the Imperial Seat in Blackrock Depths. He assists Thaurissan by healing him, so its wise to keep him CCd by Sapping/Polymorphing her. Both the Alliance and Horde get a quest completed by killing Thaurissan first, and talking to Moira after. However, Moira can still be taken down for her loot before Thaurissan falls. Once your group has done that quest, High Priestess of Thaurissan will replace her.

First sentence, she can be located there? I would assume is located would be more correct. Second sentence, "He assists Thaurissan by healing..." Obviously She assists him - they're lovers. Second sentence continued, "so it's wise to keep him CCd by Sapping/Polymorphing her" I'm thinking this is all about CCing her, and editing as such. --Crashin (talk) 17:48, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

While you're correct on the gender issues, she is not always found there. If nobody in the group has the quest, she is absent from the throne room. In her place is the High Priestess of Thaurissan, a female dark iron who fills the same role. -- DarkTZeratul (talk) 03:16, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Moral Issues

Though I usually don't mind killing things, I find that Killing her would make me a tad distressed. I mean, she's pregnant. What kind of bastard would kill a woman expecting, just for some loot? Though yes, its just a game, that's still messed up IMO. --Keldelis (talk) 19:24, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Well, you don't know she's pregnant unless you don't kill her. -- DarkTZeratul (talk) 03:58, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Um, shouldn't he or she be born by now? Flare13 (talk) 16:11, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Yep, he's in a crib in the throne room. -- DarkTZeratul (talk) 16:22, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
Where where where? :o Flare13 (talk) 16:39, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
In Cataclysm, not live. -- DarkTZeratul (talk) 16:51, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Moira Thaurissan

So...I saw a screenshot of the Council in Ironforge, and Moira is called "Moira Thaurissan". The screen is here. So does this thing mean we move it, or was this datamined info and should I just delete this comment now?--TheUltimate (talk) 05:13, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

If it's a screenshot, it's not datamined. I'd say that's good enough for a move. -- DarkTZeratul (talk) 05:16, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
Understood. I followed the referrenced link in the post. Does she, well...die? Is that a fact?--TheUltimate (talk)
I'm remaining skeptical until I see a screenshot or something. The fact that only a single website that I hadn't previously heard of is claiming it makes me a bit wary. -- DarkTZeratul (talk) 05:30, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
Again understood. ANd just to be clear, it is fine to move the page, or should more be said on it.--TheUltimate (talk) 05:39, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

She Really Dead?

can somebody explain this please.--Knighthonor (talk) 09:37, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Basicly, unless were missing a twist like with Cairne's death, King Varian has her killed for uniting the Dark Iron Clan with Ironforge, before, during, or after Cata, or something like that. It is leaked information. Flare13 (talk) 19:42, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Here's the thing, though: how reliable is that source? It's from about two months before the open beta, there's no screenshot, and no other site has mentioned it. That makes me very skeptical about its veracity. I'd rather remove it from the article until we get some in-game confirmation on that point. -- DarkTZeratul (talk) 19:16, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
It's very reliable, that's why it's called leaked. I remember the site also leaked Cataclysm before it was announced. Personally, I believe it. Every rumor we've heard has turned out to be true, this one should especially be. But if you feel there's not enough information to prove it, then be my guest and remove that segment. It will most likely get in the article sooner or later, and we shouldn't base it on my assumptions. Flare13 (talk) 19:28, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
Just like like Garrosh killing off Cairne? Cause that was the leaked info. Turns out he only thought he did. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 20:37, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
What about the leaked info that said the goblins joined the Horde because Deathwing took over Kezan? Or that Malfurion returns in order to make Thrall the new Guardian of Tirisfal? We've seen how accurate those rumors are. And without a screenshot or any other sources to confirm it, this bit of "leaked info" seems just as credible as all of those rumors do. And like the "Garrosh kills Cairne" rumor, it could be that it's partially true but with other details that we don't know. Ultimately, that's a big part of why we don't post rumors and leaked info from the alpha: things are still changing so much that there could be unknown variables, or it could be an idea that was discussed and discarded. -- DarkTZeratul (talk) 20:45, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Still in BRD

It seems that BRD is timewarped back to when she was still down there for the purpose of instance running.DarkIronFan (talk) 05:47, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

Can someone explain to me how the Alliance can kill Moira? Kookamooka (talk) 06:18, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

Blackrock Depths. -- DarkTZeratul (talk) 06:23, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

Her Name

(from my recent post on WoWWiki)

Apparently, the word 'moira' in Greek (μοίρα) translates into English as 'fate' or 'destiny'.
