Centaur clans

The centaur clans "change" was not intentional, as confirmed by GM responses yesterday, nor the hotfix says that it was intentional. The hotfix just offers a weird solution as a response of that.

Also I just went to Shok'Thokar on a toon that haven't quested there, started killing the orcs and demons, and I got no experience. --Mordecay (talk) 12:58, 20 July 2018 (UTC)

What do you mean no experience? This is the hotfix post. It says "Defeating Shok’Thokar creatures in Desolace now grants both Gelkis and Magram reputation."
They probably added the reputation to the mobs there to help those who have already completed that quest in the past. — Surafbrov T / C / P 22:12, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
Eer meant reputation, not experience. Yep, they said that in the hotfix post, but in the game, there is no reputation gained from the mobs. --Mordecay (talk) 22:21, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
I'll head over there to check on a character that has completed the quest prior to all of this. — Surafbrov T / C / P 22:23, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
For characters that have already completed the final quest, the area is phased to contain no hostile mobs. --Mordecay (talk) 22:27, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
I actually just got there and learned about that. This whole thing is ridiculous! — Surafbrov T / C / P 22:31, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
Indeed. Desolace is not desolate these days, for sure! That rep bug made sure of that :-D
Edit: If wowhead comments are to be believed, the clan reputations were supposedly to be obtainable till exalted with that Cataclysm questline - [1] --Mordecay (talk) 22:39, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
The question is how much rep is given with each kill and the respawn rate for them as the zone will most likely be populated. — Surafbrov T / C / P 22:44, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
Well despite all this, the hotfix notes for today said that if the quest was already completed, just speak with Karnum Marshweaver. :) — Surafbrov T / C / P 01:02, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
Yeah, a nice solution. --Mordecay (talk) 01:06, 21 July 2018 (UTC)

Character limit

It's listed that "Limit of characters per realm increased to 18, from 16.[3]" - however I only top at 16 per. I'm highly doubting that the limit was increased with this patch. Nbajammer (talk) 21:04, 30 July 2018 (UTC)

Correct. Probably with the release patch. --Mordecay (talk) 21:06, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
Shouldn't that then be removed, until the actual patch arrives that adds the extra character slots? Nbajammer (talk) 05:53, 31 July 2018 (UTC)

I've found something fishy going on here. (regarding this) Pets that are obtained via promotions such as Collector's Edition, etc. or bought from the In-Game Shop will be the player's current level when summoned. Pets that can be purchased from a vendor, caught in the wild, etc. will instead be level 1 when summoned. They all used to be summoned as their current pet battle level. I remember this happening sometime around 7.3.0 to 7.3.5 but it was reverted. Now it is happening again. — Surafbrov T / C / P 22:45, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
