Hmm... cross between a wight and a mad scientist. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 03:52, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

I was thinking of Gurtogg Bloodboil & Mad scientist, but Gurtogg was already a FelOrc/Wight

The "wight" form has to be an enrage or something...

Sounds like would be take place after: Guzzle Potions — Professor Putricide starts to drink every potion on the table.
Becoming an abomination himself. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 19:27, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

Billy West?

It doesn't sound anything like him, and to top that off, there's no source. Can anyone confirm or deny? --Joshmaul (talk) 12:47, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

im not sure about the voice but the quotes seem like there trying to be like dr.Farnsworth from Futurama, who tends to start off sentences with Good news everyone User:Stormrage1313666

Billy West voiced Professor farnsworth. Zurr (talk) 04:03, March 18, 2010 (UTC)

Creation

I assume he was responsible for most of the scourge's monstrosities, is that true? BobNamataki (talk) 20:20, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

Unfortunately there's no concrete evidence for or against this. I too would love to know if he had any involvement with some of the Scourge's constructs, especially some of the more experimental ones in Naxx, but unless Blizzard decides to throw in some lore now, I doubt we'll hear anything about it.Vulpes Wolf (talk) 23:59, February 1, 2010 (UTC)
Good news everyone! Most mad scientists are responsible for many new creations for the Scourge. However, one could say Putricide was the top mind behind most of them because he has a place in the Lich King's citadel. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! phase 3 strategy

There is no abomination in phase 3. It can't tank Putricide. Zurr (talk) 03:57, March 18, 2010 (UTC)

Agreed... thats why phase 3 is a burn phase cause theres no longer an abomination to eat the ooze puddles. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 04:54, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
Since when? I thought the abomination stayed up until killed and was used specifically to tank Putricide in this phase due to his increased damage. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 05:08, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
Since always. Spent about three wipes tonight trying to figure it out. If you get to the fight, you might figure it out. Emannradio (talk) 05:10, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
I haven't seen phase 3, and everything I read said to tank him with the abomination in phase 3. Anyone know where that came form in the first place? -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 06:10, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
Maybe early PTR? But for as long as I've known the fight the abomination has always vanished when phase 3 starts. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 07:43, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
My guild's been killing Putricide since late January, and I can tell you with absolute 100% certainty that the abomination does NOT stay up in Phase 3. Our strategy is to make sure our off-tank is the abomination. As soon as the Tear Gas phase ends and our off-tank turns back to normal form, he runs toward Putricide and taunts off our MT when the MT reaches his two stacks of the debuff. And actually in our experience, for our 25-man encounters we actually add a third tank to provide a little more breathing room and beat the RNG game. We can have the luxury of a third tank by going with 5 healers instead of 6, and this really only works if your DPS can put out some really high numbers in phase 3. teni (talk) 19:08, April 7, 2010 (UTC)
