Terrordale is a ghost town due to being one of the first human settlements overrun by the Scourge, nestled in the northwest corner of Eastern Plaguelands. It lies west of Plaguewood and Stratholme, near the entrance to a tunnel that leads to the banks of the Thondroril River.
It was previously haunted by Terrordale Spirits, with green auras permeating the ground as the physical world buckled under the torment of the spirit realm. Paladins eventually exorcised the tormenting spirits out of the area.
QuestsThe subject of this section has been removed from World of Warcraft in patch 4.0.3a.
Just as the town of Darkshire was once called Grand Hamlet, Terrordale likely had a much less morbid name before the invasion of the Scourge, possibly Cinderhome. Based on its location in the Plaguelands, and the presence of Northdale, which is to the north, another possible name is Eastdale.
