Grand Admiral 1 In overall command of the Alliance navy, under the Alliance's High King. Only one indivual has been known to hold this title at any time.

  • Admirals, sky admirals and their subordinates.
Sky Admiral 2 In command of a particular vessel as a flagship, but often responsible for numerous ships, and sometimes whole fleets.

Vice Admiral[1] 3 A senior officer, higher-ranking than a rear admiral but subordinate to an admiral.

High Captain[3] 4 A ship captain presumably granted expanded authority, responsibilities, and resources for their disposal. Only one individual has been known to hold this title.
War Captain 4 A captain of a war ship presumably granted expanded authority, responsibilities, and resources for their disposal. Only one individual has been known to hold this title.
