Grey Haven "Lore"
It should be noted that all "lore", as described below, is player-made and therefore non-canon. The purpose of this narrative is to share the backstory regarding Grey Haven's creation as it pertains to its two main leaders and following, developing storylines. All guild "lore" is opt-in and not required to be acknowledge by outside roleplayers.
Battle for Azeroth
Grey Haven was founded on November 6th, 2017 by WrA players Cannibal and Aurellia, three days after the BlizzCon 2017 announcement of the Battle for Azeroth expansion. In the wake of a renewed faction conflict, both felt that their characters would not fit in the planned narrative, and instead sought to create a role-play guild centered around Horde defectors and refugees seeking exile from war and conflict, while still doing what they could to assist the innocent.
Currently, the guild is in planning and setup, and is not expected to be role-played out until the Battle for Azeroth expansion launches.
Below are a list of strict guild rules that all members of Grey Haven must adhere to.
1: Any sort of OOC speech directed against any player, with intent to harm, based on ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, religion, political views or other similar categories will not be tolerated and result in an immediate kick. We encourage discussion and learning but will not tolerate insults for differing views.
2: You will acknowledge and respect the RPing choices of other players. Harassing players based on what they RP as will not be tolerated and will result in a warning. Second offense, a kick. As an RPer, you have every right to let another player know that what they're RPing as makes you uncomfortable and you don't wish to participate, but you do not have a right to mock them for doing so.
3: If a guild member is found out to be causing trouble elsewhere on the server, the situation will be investigated by officers and possibly result in a kick for any reason the officers deem worthy. In most cases, the player in question will be confronted and offered a chance to explain themselves, depending on the severity of the situation.
4: Refrain from anything involving ERP in public. Any misconduct with underage players or characters will result in an immediate kick. We do not tolerate pedophiliac behavior under any circumstances.
