Biography

Aesindor Dawnstar (formerly Dawnseeker) is the leader of the The Celestial Dawnstar, formerly known as the Quel'Thalas Offensive, a faction of blood elves of any class, formed to insure the safety of Quel'Thalas after the cleansing of the Sunwell.

Childhood

Aesindor and his family lived in Dawnstar Village on the Isle of Quel'Danas, they were known as the Dawnstar family, and they were the leaders of the Quel'Danas Offensive, a force under the Elven Crops, that served the main defense of the Sunwell. The Quel'Danas Offensive was created by Aesindor's grandfather. After the Second War, Dawnstar Village was destoryed, and the family changed their last name to Dawnseeker. The Quel'Danas Offensive, who were no longer part of the Elven Crops, became an independent defense force, and their activity expanded to all of Quel'Thalas, becoming the Quel'Thalas Offensive. The Offensive was led by Aesindor, while Thalorien was in charge of the defense of the Sunwell.

Aesindor's Brothers

Thalorien

Aesindor's Older Brother, Thalorien, was well known for being the wielder of Quel'Delar and a great warrior, he was raised as a death knight shortly after his fight with Morlen Coldgrip. After his death, his sword was picked by his friend Lana'thel, who was later raised as the undead blood queen of the San'layn. Lana'thel shattered Quel'Delar before knowing that Thalorien is undead too. Thalorien served the Quel'Thalas Offensive and the Knights of the Ebon Blade, after being freed from The Lich King's grasp in the Battle for Light's Hope Chapel.

Malithus

Aesindor's Younger Brother, Malithus, was the second in command in the Quel'Thalas Offensive. A brave warrior who was in charge of the Quel'Thalas Offensive diplomatic relations, especially those with the Horde. At the Cataclysm, Malithus sailed from the Eastern Kingdoms to Orgrimmar to congratulate Garrosh Hellscream on his new role as the Warchief of the Horde, but as he crossed the Maelstrom, his ship was hit by Deathwing who just went out of Deepholm and caused the Cataclysm.

After the Third War

After the Third War, Aesindor was part of many known and important operations, most notable is the cleansing of the Sunwell. While part of the Shattered Sun Offensive, Aesindor learned the ways of the Shaman from the Draenei, although, Aesindor is not the traditional shaman, he merged the shamanistic arts with his other classes, to create a very unique belief, and a very unique battle style known as Celestial Paladin. After the cleansing of the Sunwell, Aesindor reforged his brother's legendary blade, Quel'Delar, and swore to defeat the Lich King and Lana'thel.

Shahaf

To keep in contact with the Draenei, he was gifted a  [Orb of Deception] by Nobundo, while using the orb he appears as Shahaf - Champion of the Light in the Draenei tongue.

Edward

During one of his visits in Exodar, a human emissary from Stormwind came to the Exodar to bring an invitation to a Meeting of the Alliance Leaders in Stormwind. The Emissary's name was Edward. A Deputy in the Stormwind Army who also served as Varian's Messenger. Edward noticed Aesindor and knew he wasn't a real draenei... He followed Aesindor to Quel'Danas, thinking he might be a spy, and after learning his of his true identity, He was impressed at Aesindor's Power and started to train to be a Celestial Paladin under him.

Shoko

After the Cataclysm, While Aesindor was training Edward, he showed him one of the most ancient offensive's artifacts, A bronze medal with something looking like a hawk or a drake on it. Aesindor told Edward to use everything he can to destroy the medallion. But Edward's normal or celestial paladin powers were unable to do the slightest scratch on the medallion. Edward used all his pumpkin powers, grew larger and oranger, and changed his sword to a shovel. He concentrated all of his powers (pumpkin, celestial paladin and normal) to the shovel and hit the medallion. Nothing happened to the medallion, but a strange rift appeared, and from it, a weird Tauren with a metal armor and electric totems appeared. The Tauren's totems and metal armor were not functioning. He claimed to be Shoko, a Tauren Marine from a group called Raynor's Raiders.

The Celestial Dawnstar

Due to more and more races that are not blood elves joining the Quel'Thalas Offensive, Aesindor rebuilt Dawnstar Village as the new headquarters of the Quel'Thalas Offensive, Changed his family's name back to Dawnstar and turned the Quel'Thalas Offensive into The Celestial Dawnstar, the same organization but operating throughout the world of Azeroth and beyond.

Shoko in Space

While Aesindor and Edward were away, Thalorien was arranging the artifacts in the vault, and called Shoko for assistance. A wierd accident caused the Orb of Deception to shatter and cause a arcane explosion, the arcane energy was all fused into the medallion of Shoko, once again opening the rift and taking Shoko (with Thalorien) back to the place Shoko came from. Thalorien was later thrown back and his bones were found at the place, where he first died. Due to the breaking of the Orb, Aesindor can no longer take Draenei form, but he is still welcome in the Exodar.

Full Caravan

After finally sealing the medallion once and for all, Aesindor and Edward were called by the Argent Crusade to participate in the retaking of Tyr's Hand and Stratholme. On their way there, they encountered a lonely worgen lady named Fiona, a traveling merchant with a Caravan, who asked Aesindor and Edward to look for her 2 companions, 2 Paladins looking to join the Argent Crusade, A dwarf named Gidwin Goldbraids and a blood elf named Tarenar Sunstrike. After finding them, Edward and Aesindor joined them on their way to Light's Hope Chapel, on their way more passengers joined the caravan (A human from the Argent Crusade named Argus Highbeacon, A goblin from Gadgetzan named Beezil Linkspanner, The Earthen Ring Ambassador to the Argent Crusade Rimblat Earthshatter, and an undead Mossflayer troll named Vex'tul). Aesindor offered all the passengers to join The Celestial Dawnstar, and along the way after helping a high elf named Kirkian Dawnshield redeem his home and friends from their misery as wretched. He offered Kirkian to join him too. After Gidwin and Tarenar received a mission from the Argent Crusade to venture to Northdale, Gidwin was captured by the Scourge, and before freeing him Vex'tul, who cleaned his hometown Zul'Mashar finished his life by jumping into the fire. Aesindor and the Caravan freed Gidwin, and Aesindor finally received his answer, All caravan members(and Kirkian) except Gidwin and Beezil, joined the Celestial Dawnstar. Gidwin and Beezil decided they can't pledge themselves fully to the Dawnstar and they remained as allies (not members) to the Dawnstar. Aesindor and the new members and allies of the Dawnstar later established Quel'lithien Lodge as a new base to the Celestial Dawnstar in Eastern Plaguelands, and then they all participated in what Aesindor and Edward were called for, the retaking of Tyr's Hand and Stratholme for the Argent Crusade.

Rajhmesses

After assisting the Ramkahen of Uldum, and establishing more outposts for the Celestial Dawnstar, Aesindor and Edward created the new headquarters in the Ancient city of Rajhmesses(meaning Born of Rajh, Construct of the Sun. The city was known as Lost City of the Tol'vir when it was held by the Neferset) in southern Uldum, with the old Headquarters at Dawnstar Village left as the home of what remains of the Dawnstar family, if the Village was still the headquarters, the whole family would have been in great danger. The banner of the the Celestial Dawnstar was also changed, but the old banner is still in use on Dawnstar Village.

Celestial Dragonflight

Celestion as a whelp

In the Oasis of the Fallen Prophet in Rajhmesses, Aesindor is trying to create a new breed of dragons to be used by new Celestial Paladins. With the help of Alexstrasza, Kalecgos and Krasus, Aesindor uses Jorus (his Netherwing drake), Altairus (his newly-tamed Storm dragon of the North Wind), his  [Celestial Steed], and drakes of the Red, Blue, Bronze, Black and Twilight Dragonflights to create this unique dragon. And thus, Celestion was born, and with him, the Celestial Dragonflight.

Journey to the Firelands

Algalon, The Celestial Observer, has come to Azeroth once again, summoning Aesindor and Edward to the Celestial Planetarium. Algalon and Aesindor were already acquainted from Algalon's last visit to Azeroth, at the time of Yogg-Saron's Demise. Algalon came to tell Aesindor and Edward about the Embrace, an extraordinary celestial event in which Azeroth's two moons come into perfect alignment. The Embrace will be the height of their power, but this event has meaning not only for Aesindor and Edward. Algalon informs them of other events that will occur at the same time: Choosing of the next leader of the Blue Dragonflight, Assault on the Firelands and a meeting to restore The World Tree. Aesindor and Edward attended the Choosing of the next Aspect and the meeting to restore the World Tree, and started to prepare for the assualt on the Firelands, while also assisting Aggra with restoring Thrall's Essence.

Awakening the Winged Guardians

To assist in the upcoming assault, Algalon advised Aesindor to awaken the Winged Guardians, a majestic creation of the titans that looks like a blazing, eagle-winged lion of stone designed to protect Azeroth's most ancient secrets. But awakening the guardians was not an easy task... During the war between the Ramkahen (and the forces of the Dawnstar) and the Neferset (and Al'Akir's wind elementals), the guardians were captured by the Neferset and turned into statues by Siamat. Aesindor has merged his Celestial Steed with one of the statues. But although the guardian inside awoke, His body was still an immovable statue. Aesindor used the aid of the Holy Light to cleanse the statue off Siamat's "gift", and he succeeded. The statue began to crack, revealing the renewed Winged Guardian, with his mane, eyes, hooves, wings and tail burn with the powers of the Holy Light. Aesindor ordered all other Celestial Paladins to do the same, knowing that now, the secrets the guardians protected were at the disposal of the Dawnstar and they will prove invaluable in the upcoming assault.

The Invasion Begins

Aesindor rallied all members of The Celestial Dawnstar, since the invasion will not be like any operation launched before. Celestion, now a fully grown dragon, also joined the assault. Once preparations were made, The Forces of The Celestial Dawnstar joined forces with the Guardians of Hyjal for the assault. The invasion was led by Malfurion Stormrage, Hamuul Runetotem, Edward, Salhet and Aesindor. After the opening of the portal to the Firelands at Nordune Ridge, and after the end of the guardians preparations, the invasion begun. At the Molten Front of the Firelands, the Guardians of Hyjal established an outpost and attempt to gain a foothold by planting a tree, while the Forces of The Celestial Dawnstar battled to defend the outpost. At one of the battles, Celestion was captured, and from there on, he was known only as Celestazor, a firehawk at the service of the Firelord.

Fireplume Peak

Celestazor, now leader of the firehawks, resides at Fireplume Peak. With the help of the Druids of the Talon, The Celestial Dawnstar were able to tame Celestazor and while they couldn't return him to his original dragon form, they managed to help him regain his powers. With Celestazor back on their side, they conquered Fireplume Peak and made it into a Celestial Dawnstar Outpost. At the new outpost,Aesindor and Edward forged new fiery armors for themselves.

Wildflame Point

Aesindor and the forces of the Celestial Dawnstar aided The Shadow Wardens in laying siege on the Forlorn Spire, claiming the tower as the forward outpost of the Guardians of Hyjal. After conquering the tower, The Shadow Wardens and The Celestial Dawnstar attacked Widow's Clutch and Wildflame Point, the base of operations of the Druids of the Flame. On the corpse of one druid, Aesindor found a strange seed that turned into The Fire Lasher and proved to be a great weapon later. After the attacks were finished, Leyara, commander of the forces of the Firelord in Mount Hyjal and the Molten Front, was located in the Igneous Depths where she was cornered and killed. On Leyara's Corpse, Aesindor found a  [Smoke-Stained Locket], that with the help of Rabine Saturna and Malfurion, was used to learn of Leyara's past and use the secrets of Leyara to transform the wielder temporarily into a druid of the flame.

Thrall

Aesindor and Edward attended a summit in Nordrassil alongside Thrall, Malfurion and the Dragon Aspects to try and restore the World Tree, but Fandral and 3 other Druids of the Flame disrupted the summit and split Thrall into 4 Essences of himself, sending each one to of the elemental planes. Aesindor and Edward assisted Aggra in restoring Thrall to his normal self. They freed Thrall of the essence of Winds and Doubt, Tides and Desire, Patience and Earth and finally Flames and Fury. Thrall was restored and was all that he once was and more, only after finding that he was a thrall to his doubts and fears. Returning to Nordrassil, Aesindor and Edward attended Thrall and Aggra's wedding.

Breaking the Flames

The War on the Molten Front was won. It was time to attack Ragnaros himself, but the way to Sulfuron Keep was well-guarded by 5 of Ragnaros's most powerful minions. The combined forces of The Celestial Dawnstar, The Shadow Wardens, the Guardians of Hyjal and the Druids of the Talon split to face 4 of the minions:

  • Beth'tilac, The Red Widow and Matriarch of the Cinderweb brood, was attacked by The Celestial Dawnstar.
  • Lord Rhyolith, one of the most ancient elementals, was attacked by the Druids of the Talon.
  • Alysrazor, the former green dragon traitor, was attacked by The Shadow Wardens.
  • Shannox, Chief Hunter and Kennel Master of Ragnaros's hell hounds, was attacked by the Guardians of Hyjal.

The 4 forces joined forces again to take down Baleroc, The Gatekeeper of the bridge to Ragnaros' Chamber. After defeating Baleroc, the forces reached the courtyard, Where the treacherous Majordomo Staghelm, Archdruid of the Flame resided. The Locket of Leyara and The Fire Lasher made the fight much easier than expected and with Fandral's Death, the way to his master was clear. The attack on Ragnaros's chamber had begun, and just as things started to turn to the side of the combined forces, Ragnaros revealed his greatest secret - He has legs. With the Firelord walking around, Hamuul began to entrap him in place, until the Firelord unleashed his full strength, causing rains of meteors and waves of attacking elementals, Ragnaros threw Sulfuras towards Aesindor in an attempt to crush him, Aesindor formed a Divine Shield and managed to parry the hammer, which backfired, returning to Ragranos and causing his destruction.

With the Fall of Ragnaros, Aesindor, exhausted after the fight, fainted and entered a coma.
