Racial icons

You may wish to add your comments about the recently noted changes you're doing. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 02:37, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

Please discontinue adding borders to the icons, it was already decided by the majority it wasn't liked. You were even part of that discussion. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 22:05, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

Vol'jin Icon

I always looked at this icon and thought he was missing something and I was right, his voodoo mask. However the icon we're using right now look nicer but it was decided against to use borders because they take up space in the icon. If you remove them it will look fine. If you want, I can make new icosn for other main characters :D --Kandooww ^^ (talk) 20:33, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
I think that would be great, try checking around List of unique character icons and it's talk page. There plenty of people who could use unique icons, like Anub'arak.
I'm not sure about Baine's icon and Garrosh's icon, I hope that you like it--Kandooww ^^ (talk) 21:42, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
High Elven Sylvanas was very good. Undead Sylvanas is good how it is. I also like Gallyix and Vol'jin. Baine and Garrosh are fine as they are. Inv helmet 44.pngInv helmet 119.png High Warlord MoneygruberTheGoblinChieftain of the Gentleman Tribe (talk contribs) 22:37, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
Maybe, Undead Sylvanas and Baine have to look the other way --Kandooww ^^ (talk) 22:41, 27 November 2011 (UTC)

It's been reverted. Bring it up on the talk page first. --g0urra[T҂C] 21:54, 27 November 2011 (UTC)

Icon updating

Your updated icons look rather blurry, are you only shrinking the images with no other effects? Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 02:43, 27 December 2014 (UTC)

Some constrast filter... but yeah, they are blurry. Do you know how I can do it less blurry?--Kandooww ^^ (talk) 13:13, 27 December 2014 (UTC)
I usually do a quick brush over with the sharpen tool, helps quite a bit. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 01:23, 28 December 2014 (UTC)

Factional Icons

A discussion is taking place at Forum:Neutral Faction Icons about these icons, I'm attempting to get opinions from editors like yourself about this issue, please make your opinion known. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 19:11, 3 March 2016 (UTC)

Template:MissionLegionbox

Thank you for creating this template! Could you please also add documentation for it along the same vein as Template:Missionbox and Template:Navalbox? - Linneris (talk) 10:31, 27 November 2016 (UTC)

Character icons

Hello. Do you think that, for green Kargath Bladefist, maybe we should use his Warcraft II icon instead of the recolored WoD one ? Xporc (talk) 10:46, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

Hi!! Maybe WarcraftII icon would be more distinguishable from Orc Male icon. We should ask also to User:Klakmuf, who is changing almost "warcrat-based" icons to "wow-based" ones --Kandooww ^^ (talk) 11:09, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
The problem with just recoloring his WoD icon is that we have no idea if he actually looked like that during Warcraft I and II :( Xporc (talk) 12:26, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

BTW I created {{Race}} entries for the blood trolls, vulpera, sethrak and tortollan, so you can use that instead of {{RaceIcon}} Xporc (talk) 12:32, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

Alan Dabiri's page

Hey Kandooww, I'm the guy from the Heroes wiki.

Apparently since I am a "new user" I cannot even edit a page? Can you update the Alan Dabiri page with the following content. I just spent a good bit of time gathering info and I do onto want to forget to update it. I just added a thumbnail, and some references... I thought that since I am pretty much the most active editor over on the Heroes wiki, I would at least be able to edit a freaking article over here.

Sure! :) Tell me if you want more things. Are you a "New user"??? Wtf? You should be "upgrade" :/ --Kandooww ^^ (talk) 14:03, 15 June 2017 (UTC)

But...where? Wowpedia's page?

I updated Dabiri's page! Xporc (talk) 14:10, 15 June 2017 (UTC)

BfA

Hey! Great work on all the expansion articles. Out of curiosity, are you in the alpha, or just active on the database sites? :) PeterWind (talk) 18:19, 26 January 2018 (UTC)

Active on database sites (like MMO-Champion or Wowhead), and active watching any YouTube material hahahahahha I would like being a alpha tester T.T --Kandooww ^^ (talk) 18:30, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
Ahh alright, cool cool! But yeah you and me both! ;) PeterWind (talk) 18:48, 26 January 2018 (UTC)

Out of curiosity

I've been wondering how icons for the site are actually made and I figure it would be a handy thing to know how to do. So if you'd feel like it, maybe give me a quick run-through of the "general process"? If there even is such a thing... It's alright if you'd rather not, I just thought it might be worth a shot to ask. – WarGodZajru (talk) 22:17, 26 January 2018 (UTC)

I just use Photoshop and the model that I can find in MMOchampion and Wowhead.
First I screenshot the model, then I select (with Photoshop) just the model. Then I transform the picture to be 18x18 and add a black background, then "Focus" option. And that is it. Sorry for my English, I will try to improve it tomorrow xD --Kandooww ^^ (talk) 03:29, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
Oh I see, alright! Thank you. c:
I think the reason why I haven't tried it is due to positioning. Like for example, all the different troll females, they all look one way, not sure if I should eyeball that or what, lol.
And there's nothing wrong with your English, don't worry about that. – WarGodZajru (talk) 07:24, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

Motherlode

This dungeon changed 4 times of names already, I propose we stop moving it until Blizzard finally decides on something final. Xporc (talk) 12:33, 2 April 2018 (UTC)

Profession icons

Where do they come from? Especially since ProfIcon jewelcrafting.png isn't even a full icon. --g0urra[T҂C] 22:13, 10 June 2018 (UTC)

They come from Profession World Quest icons (except First Aids). We can delete them if you want, there're just a product from a boring afternoon xD --Kandooww ^^ (talk) 22:38, 10 June 2018 (UTC)

Mob screenshots

Hey there. Thanks a lot for uploading Durotar mob & npc screenshots, but you could you please try to up your graphics, even if it makes your computer slow during the time you do it? Several of these screenshots will have to be retaken due to their lowish quality. Xporc (talk) 17:03, 8 August 2018 (UTC)

Ok, sorry u.u I'll try it :D--Kandooww ^^ (talk) 09:13, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
Thanks :D Xporc (talk) 12:37, 15 August 2018 (UTC)

Silva Fil'naveth level

Hey! per this edit You added level changes for Silva Fil'naveth. Granted it was a while ago, so you may not recall the circumstances. Untill then she had been listed as 65, and that's also the level she is today. Was that change just applied to all NPCs providing flight master services or did you check yourself? PeterWind (talk) 17:43, 8 August 2018 (UTC)

Hey! I think I just checked Wowhead info :S --Kandooww ^^ (talk) 09:12, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
Sure no worries! I think I'll remove that bit as it seems to me that she didn't change levels. :) PeterWind (talk) 10:01, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
Ahh Morde beat me to it. PeterWind (talk) 10:03, 9 August 2018 (UTC)

Icon sizes

Hey, from now and to the distant future regarding the NPC icons, could you start uploading them as 64px instead of 18px? The reason for this change was discussed at Forum:Icon sizes. The current icons that are already at 18px, feel free to update them to 64px size but don't feel obligated to do so. Thanks! :) — Surafbrov T / C / P 16:54, 4 September 2018 (UTC)

Oh! Sorry! I will change the new ones at least--Kandooww ^^ (talk) 17:00, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
It's all good, just actually make this change now so we can start doing this. Just informing you so you would at least be aware of this. — Surafbrov T / C / P 17:01, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
