Victory for one means agony for another.[1]

Victory Rush is a level 10 warrior ability. It is an instant attack that deals damage and heals for 30% of maximum health. It can only be used within 20 seconds after landing a Killing Blow on an enemy that yields experience or honor.


Tips and tactics

  • Because this attack deals damage based on the warrior's attack power, any effect or ability that increases the warrior's attack power (AP) mixes well with this ability.
  • The self-heal makes Victory Rush absolutely essential for soloing, as it allows the warrior to kill large numbers of enemies one after the other, often completely regenerating their hit points in between each kill at higher levels. Not to be underestimated.
  • Note that even if Victory Rush misses or is parried/dodged/blocked, you will still be healed.


Victory Rush is one of Varian's passive Talents in Heroes of the Storm.

Patch changes

  • Legion Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): No longer available to Fury. Damage increased by 257%. Now heals for 30% of maximum health (up from 20%).
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Damage has been reduced by approximately 17%.
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): This ability is now trainable at level 5 (instead of 6). It also heals for 20 % of your maximum health.
  • Wrath of the Lich King Patch 3.3.0 (2009-12-08): This ability is now trainable at level 6 (instead of 62).
Cost is 1s (before faction discounts).
  • The Burning Crusade Patch 2.1.0 (2007-05-22): The tooltip has been adjusted to calculate the damage it deals correctly, 45% of Attack Power, not 35%.
  • The Burning Crusade Patch 2.0.10 (2007-03-06): The cooldown on "Victory Rush" has been removed, and it can now be used up to 20 seconds after killing an enemy.
Previously had a 15 second cooldown.
