Some of the best and easiest to obtain Fire Resistance armor for players starting in Molten Core, especially for druids and rogues, although hunters and shamans may benefit from it too. The breastplate also has one of the highest armor ratings for leather gear in the game, which makes it a reasonable stopgap piece for bear tanking.
