Notes and trivia

Prior to Cataclysm this was the only true ranged area damage the Hunter could do. Since patch 4.0.1, [Multi-Shot] takes the role of ranged area damage.
Volley is a Rare Hunter Ability card in the World of Warcraft: Trading Card Game's Blood of Gladiators series.

Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Now a level 30 Marksmanship hunter talent and redesigned.
Patch 7.1.5 (2017-01-10): Damage increased by 50% for Beast Mastery only.
Hotfix (2016-08-26): "Volley now deals additional damage at 100% of Attack Power (was 75%)."
Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Re-added as a Beast Mastery and Marksmanship talent and redesigned.
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Removed.
Patch 3.2.2 (2009-09-22): The attack power coefficient was raised from 5.86% to 8.37% (undocumented change)
