Windfury Totem is a shaman PvP talent, available after unlocking the level 40 PvP talent slot. Shaman can drop it to give a 40% chance for their party to generate an additional three extra attacks. It is often abbreviated "WF".

Patches and hotfixes

Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Now a PvP talent (was a rank 37 honor talent).
Hotfix (2017-04-26):
- Windfury Totem now correctly has 5 health.
- Only one Windfury Totem can be active per Shaman at a time.
Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Re-added as an honor talent and redesigned.
Previous: Summons a Windfury Totem with 5 health at the feet of the caster. The totem increases the melee and ranged attack speed of all party and raid members within 40 yards by 10%. Lasts 5 min.
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Removed.
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Windfury Totem is now a 10% buff, and affects ranged as well as melee.
Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Windfury Totem is now a flat 20% melee haste totem. All ranks have been modified.
Patch 1.5.0 (2005-06-07):
- Fixed a bug where Windfury Totems had incorrect level caps when cast by higher level shaman. All totems should now be summoned at the level of the caster.
- Tooltip updated to clarify that only the main-hand weapon is enchanted.
Patch 1.1.0 (2004-11-07): Much more responsive.
Patch 0.10 (2004-09-18): Levels at which each rank can be learned have been changed.
Patch 0.9 (2004-08-17): Replacements adjusted, effect simplified.
Patch 0.7 (2004-06-15): Moved to level 32. Changed to a flat damage bonus. Mana cost and damage reduced.
