Notes

This item is believed to be related to Sylvanas Windrunner, who was slain, and turned into a Banshee by Arthas during her time as Ranger-General of Silvermoon. It is speculated that this crossbow once belonged to her and was taken by Arthas as a material evidence of Frostmourne's superiority. However, in Warcraft III, and in supplemental material (such as The Sunwell Trilogy), Sylvanas is always shown using a bow (even today her weapon of choice is a bow).
