Zen Master is the eighth stage of a profession learned at the appropriate profession trainer (see below). It unlocks the use and development of profession related skills in Pandaria related content.

Profession skill levels fall into ten of groups of ability to learn and execute recipes: Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert, Artisan, Master (The Burning Crusade), Grand Master (Wrath of the Lich King), Illustrious Grand Master (Cataclysm), Zen Master (Mists of Pandaria), Draenor Master (Warlords of Draenor), Legion Master (Legion), and Kul Tiran and Zandalari (Battle for Azeroth).

  • Not counting racial or other bonuses, Zen Master proficiency allows the profession up to a maximum of 75 points.
  • Prior to the expansion Battle for Azeroth, the Zen Master stage could be learnt at a skill level of 500 and allowed progression gain up to a maximum of 500 points, not counting any racial or any other bonuses.
  • Up to Mists of Pandaria, no skill or profession could go above 600 points (not including racial or other bonuses).
