Book of the Dead is a Level 42 Epic quality Off-Hand that improves Intellect, Stamina and Versatility. It has an on-use ability that summons a Skeleton for 1 minute on a 15 minute cooldown.

In the RPG

This section contains information from the Warcraft RPG which is considered non-canon.

This ancient, musty tome is decorated with inlaid bones from various creatures. The cover and spine are made from dried skin stretched and treated to remain flexible. The ink used to write the magical words and runes inside is blood drawn from the veins of living creatures killed as sacrifices when the book was completed.

Trivia

• Possibly a reference to the "Necronomicon Ex Mortis" from the Evil Dead series, a book of the dead also bound in human flesh and inked in blood.
