Brother Cuo was one of the Shado-Pan agents chosen to aid Vol'jin and his companions in their attempt to thwart the resurrection of Warlord Kao, a general of the Thunder King. However, the group ended up being captured by the Zandalari and Cuo was forced to watch as his fellow Shado-pan were sacrificed to resurrect the Mogu Warlord. Upon reaching the Isle of Thunder Cuo along with the others were imprisoned and with the aid of Vol'jin escaped back to Shado-Pan Monastery and became a part of The Thirty-three to defend it against the Zandalari. Brother Cuo was one of the last of the thirty-three to die, his face having been cleaved in half.[1]
