Template:Legion Order Halls are special class-specific areas, serving as the base of operations for each Class Order.[1]

Set in special locations with a strong connection to the class, Order Halls will only allow access to players of the corresponding class, and will serve as a base of operations for sending champions on missions.

Official preview

With the Horde and the Alliance in disarray, players must seek out and bring together other like-minded champions to stand against the demonic hordes. In Legion, each player will take charge of an Order Hall—a site of great power linked closely to a character’s class and cause. The Order Hall will serve as each hero’s base of operations—and a bastion of hope—during their journey to the Broken Isles. From there, players will send NPC followers on missions to help defend Azeroth from the demonic incursion . . . and forge their Artifact into a Legion-felling force to be reckoned with.[2]

Functionality

Order Halls are in many ways Legion's counterpart to Warlords of Draenor's garrisons. They serve as a secondary hub for players outside of the main capital of Dalaran, and allow players to command a team of champions to undertake special missions. A key difference to garrisons is that the Order Halls are realm-wide, and will be open to all characters of that class.[1]

Order Halls will be a unique space with unique functions.[1] Players will come here to upgrade their Artifacts, and to access special quests and missions.[1]

Champions

The evolution of Warlords of Draenor's follower system, Order Halls will feature class champions, which the player will be able to send on missions. While on Draenor the player was recruiting any who would join their cause, regardless of race, class or allegiance, the fight against the Burning Legion will not be won through numbers alone, but through smaller numbers of especially capable champions. Players will command a small force of these exceptional champions, with some fairly major lore characters such as Lady Liadrin for the Horde. [1]

As with followers, players will send their champions on missions, but these missions will be more integrated into the rest of the game experience, unlocking content and enabling the player in related zones. For example, missions may open new areas for questing, or grant special buffs to the player while in certain zones. Players are intended to work alongside and with their champions, rather than competing with them for rewards.[1]

Locations

Few details have yet been confirmed regarding the exact locations and settings of each Order Hall. What information has been teased or revealed is provided below. However, bear in mind that locations may not yet be decided for all Order Halls.
