The Crunchola is a modified shredder created by Grizzek Fizzwrench, who also fondly referred to it as Crunchy. One of its mechanically operated limbs is outfitted with a grasping hand augmented by an energy beam, with the idea being that the energy pulse increases the pressure to make it seven times as strong as the usual shredder hand. (Grizzek picked seven since it's supposedly a lucky number.)[1]
During Grizzek and Sapphronetta Flivvers' experiments with Azerite, they tried having the Crunchola crush a chunk of hardened Azerite in its hand, but this simply resulted in the digits on the shredder's hand snapping. Grizzek was dismayed and promised "Crunchy" that he would repair it.[1] He soon rebuilt the damaged hand, but when Trade Prince Gallywix visited to check on their progress, Grizzek performed the same demonstration again, wincing as Crunchy's hand was destroyed a second time.[2]
