Death Speaker Blackthorn is a quilboar in Razorfen Downs.
He is capable of casting arcane magic.[1]
Traveler
Some time after the Cataclysm, he and Chugara Razorflank caught the traitor Shagtusk and the dryad Taryndrella. He wanted to sacrifice the dryad to Amnennar at the Bone Pile. Although he started the ritual and summoned various undead monstrosities to defend him, Taryndrella's friends rescued her while he was attacked by Reigol Valdread.[2]
During the war in Draenor, Razorfen Downs was invaded by the heroes of the Alliance and Horde. His death revived Amnennar from his phylactery.
Adventure Guide
Death Speaker Blackthorn rose quickly through the ranks of the Death's Head cult after the defeat of Amnennar the Coldbringer. Shortly after usurping control of the cult, Blackthorn began receiving dark whispers. These whispers promised power and riches beyond belief, if he could return Amnennar to life. Compelled by unnatural energies Blackthorn discovered the location of Amnennar's Phylactery and has returned to Razorfen downs to complete the ritual that will return his former master to life once more.
Abilities
Summon Skeletons — Summons forth three Splinterbone Warriors to assist Death Speaker Blackthorn.
- Splinterbone Warrior
- Disrupting Dash — Inflicts 30% weapon damage as Physical damage and interupts spell casting for 3 sec.
- Shield Smash — Inflicts weapon damage plus additional damage to an enemy and its nearest allies, affecting up to 5 targets and knocking them back.
- Splinterbone Warrior
- Shockwave — Death Speaker Blackthorn rears back and summons unholy strength to pummel enemies in a cone 20 yards long in front of the caster, inflicting massive Physical damage.
- Searing Shadows — Shadows engulf the target inflicting 400 Shadow damage every 3 seconds for 15 sec.
- Shadowmend — Calls upon Shadow magic to heal a single undead target.
