Sseratus, the Drakkari loa of serpents and snakes, can be found at the Altar of Sseratus in Zul'Drak. The physical manifestation of the loa is dead.
When the Scourge began their invasion of Zul'Drak, the Drakkari decided to sacrifice their animal gods in order to obtain their considerable power in the fight against the Lich King. As the high prophet of Sseratus, Slad'ran took no pleasure in killing his god, but he did it all the same with the mindset that it might help them save their home, transforming himself into something half-serpent when the sacrifice transferred the immense power of Sseratus to him. The ice troll then swore vengeance on the Scourge for what they'd “made” him do to the loa.[2][3]
Following the war against the Jailer, the brothers Bronzebeard visited the Altar of Sseratus and reported that the skin and bones of Sseratus' slain physical manifestation can still be seen in the temple.[2]
