Patch changes[]

  • Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5 (2023-07-11): Now replaces Ability mage invisibility [Invisibility] when talented and is located below Ability socererking arcaneacceleration [Temporal Velocity] (was below Spell arcane blink [Flow of Time]).
  • Dragonflight Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 9 class talent (was a level 47 Arcane ability). No longer replaces Invisibility.
  • Shadowlands Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now learned at level 47 (was 65).
  • Battle for Azeroth Hotfix (2020-01-22): Fixed an issue causing Mage's Invisibility and Greater Invisibility spells to not display the intended screen effects.
  • Legion Patch 7.1.0 (2016-10-25): Now learned at level 65 (was 50) and replaces Invisibility.
  • Legion Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Changed from a level 60 talent to a level 50 Arcane mage ability. No longer removes damage over time effects or replaces Invisibility. Cooldown increased to 2 minutes (from 1.5 minutes). Now reduces damage by 60% (from 90%).
  • Warlords of Draenor Hotfix (2014-12-15): Greater Invisibility should now correctly be counting as dispelling two damage over time effects instead of canceling them.
  • Mists of Pandaria Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): Now has a 90-second cooldown (was 2.5 minutes).
  • Mists of Pandaria Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Added.
