The Hivemind is an encounter in Ny'alotha, the Waking City in which Ka'zir and Tek'ris are fought.

Adventure Journal

Locked in a contest of wills, the generals Ka'zir and Tek'ris constantly vie for dominance over their fellow aqir. As they wrest control away from one another, the hive shifts its tactics and obeys each of their commands with fervent loyalty.

Overview

Ka'zir and Tek'ris vy for control over aqir. Control of the aqir shifts between Ka'zir and Tek'ris periodically, altering the aqir summoned during the encounter.

Tanks

Tek'ris and Kaz'ir take reduced damage when the positioning requirements of [Tek'ris's Hivemind Control] or [Ka'zir's Hivemind Control] are not met.
Aqir Drones are [Mindless] and do not obey threat.
Ensure that [Mind-Numbing Nova] is interrupted.

Damage Dealers

Control and quickly defeat Aqir Darters to reduce damage taken by their [Psionic Resonance].
Move away from allies during [Echoing Void] to avoid taking additional damage.
Ensure that [Mind-Numbing Nova] is interrupted.

Healers

[Echoing Void] causes substantial damage to all players.
Aqir Darters inflict damage to all players with [Psionic Resonance].
Aqir Drones will attack allies at random.

Generals of N'Zoth's aqir army, Ka'zir and Tek'ris are able to exert their will over the hive. Each feels they are the dominant leader and will wrest control from the other, changing the tactics of their minions.
