For the quest objects in Zuldazar, see Spirit Obelisk (Zuldazar).

“Perhaps devices like this one will keep you anchored to the Shadowlands, should an ill fate befall you.”

Fatescribe Roh-Tahl[1]

Spirit Obelisks, also called touchstones,[1] are First One relics located at graveyards in the Shadowlands, acting as the Shadowlands version of Spirit Healers. When the player character is alive, the obelisks appear as inert stone pillars and cannot be interacted with. When the player character is dead, any obelisk they approach will unfold into a glowing blue gateway-like construction (or, in Zereth Mortis, a glowing golden pillar) which can be interacted with to resurrect on the spot in the same manner as with a Spirit Healer.

One non-interactable Spirit Obelisk can be found next to Fatescribe Roh-Tahl in Oribos,[78.1, 50.3]VZ-OribosBlip who describes it as a "touchstone for spirits that have become untethered".[1] If a player character dies in Oribos, they will automatically resurrect at this touchstone as soon as they Release Spirit.
