Sunfury Spire
Sunfury Spire is Silvermoon City's palace. It is located in the Court of the Sun and contains the Inner Sanctum.
It is here that Regent Lord Lor'themar Theron, ruler of Quel'Thalas, governs the country with the advice and counsel of Ranger General Halduron Brightwing and Grand Magister Rommath.[1] The spire also contains the mage and priest trainers for the city. Not to be confused with the Sunspire on Sunstrider Isle.
The spire is guarded by two large rows of blood elven guardians, and the royal guard force within.
Trivia
- At the back of the spire's Inner Sanctum is a hidden doorway on a seemingly blank wall, accessed by using a nearby crystal. Within is a private study, containing scrying stones, grimoires, and expansive bookshelves. Lady Liadrin assumed it to be Lor'themar Theron's private quarters, but quickly amended her view after seeing how uneasy the regent looked in its confines, and Rommath revealed it as his own.[2]
- According to the RPG, Sunfury Spire replaced the previous palace, Sunstrider Spire, which was destroyed during the Third War.[3] The Ultimate Visual Guide references the downfall of the Sunstriders in Sunfury Spire's section, though does not specifically mention an old palace.
