Uh, I haven't read the book myself or anything however recent information and spoilers have made some revisions about certain information about some of the characters. <WIZARD> for example, is the mysterious wizard Jaina meets, and the group responsible for the tension and almost all out war with the Horde and the Alliance is the Elade Gninrunb. If anyone sees it and manages to read the book I would much appreciate it to see some revision in the site. I'm sorry if I spoiled it for anyone, I haven't even read it myself but if someone could read it I think the new information would be usefull in adding to some of the lore like the Guardians of Tristfall and the reason behind the tension with the Horde and the Alliance. A consensus was reached by the Bookkeepers that we should hold off on officially posting information from the book until people had has time to read it- Blizzard didn't even publicize it until a month after it was released. Hence, none of the characters affected by the novel have had their pages changed, aside from a note saying that information can be found in the book. the only new character who has a page is Zmodlor. We expect to begin adding information from the novel in a month or so- I will edit you previous comment so as not to spoil. Ragestorm, Head Bookkeeper
Quality of the novel versus that of other Warcraft novels[]
I'm sorry if anyone chose this novel to be their favorite, but I think it's utter shite. The quality and style of writing are very sub-par compared to the works of Richard Knaak and Christie Golden. I really am not sure how Blizzard let this hit the shelves. The plot is unemersive, the author seems to be in a constant slang dialect even when not dialoguing, and he would rather write pages of dialogue than any real detail (it's a book, not a movie script...). lol, yup I agree. For some reason, whenever an Orc spoke, he sounded like someone from the south. And how many times does the author remind us about the war with the burning legion???????
My favourite Warcraft books are: 1. Rise of the Horde and Lord of the Clans. (I can't decided which is better. Both fantastic pieces of work IMO) 2. Of Blood and Honor. 3. The Last Guardian.
I haven't read DoTD or the War of the Ancients as of yet, but I'm getting there :)
I was expecting alot from this book, but it really messes itself up.

If it's any consolation, I agree. I've also noticed that the events of this book don't seem to have made it into other sources of lore. Even in the RPGs I've yet to have seen anything mentioned. --Austin P 13:55, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
