Katrana's control

Does This Mean The Alliance Is Under Katrana Contral Nat 07:33, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Stormwind is technically under her control, at least until Marshal Windsor unmasks her in the throne room. -- Dark T Zeratul 07:37, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

What happens when you kill Onyxia in Onyxia's lair? Does she still appear in Stormwind? -- Extremedeath 11:14, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes. User:CoobraSssssssssssssssssssssssss User:CoobraFor Pony! {TDon't hiss at me.CIf you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.) 03:21, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Name

In Bulgarian "katran" (катран) means tar. So, I think her name is given on purpose - tar (black liquid) corresponds to her true identity as a black dragon.Dakovski (talk) 05:57, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

While this may be the case, I think it's far more likely that it's just a coincidence, and that Katrana was just a generic fantasy-sounding name (just one letter away from Katrina, after all). -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 06:55, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
It is right katran is tar in Bulgarian. I know, I am Bulgarian TNK 05:23, 7 July 2008 (UTC)worldtaker
I changed that part of the particle, since katran means tar in a couple other Slavic languages, too (Slovenian being one of them). Lokann (talk) 15:26, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

Katran is spiny dogfish in Ukrainian and Russian.UeArtemis (talk) 11:58, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

House of Nobles

Since Katrana is a Lordaeron noble, wouldn't that mean she is not a part of the House of Nobles which is part of Stormwind?  Rolandius Paladin (talk - contr) 06:43, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

The Prestors were Alterac royalty or nobility, but when Lord Prestor's betrayal of the Alliance came to light, Alterac was razed by the Alliance for treason, so I doubt the Prestors belong to the House of Nobles--she's just enchanted or blackmailed most of them from the sounds of it. - Ohten

Fan Fiction

If fan fiction is ever listed under this character I feel that the video "The Craft of War: BLIND" by percula should be listed. It is perfectly consistent with lore and of meritorious quality. KarlThePagan (talk) 03:12, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

That may be so, but as a rule we do not include fanfiction on this wiki outside of user pages. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 06:23, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

References

Why does reference # 2 say "Unknown | Unknown by Unknown"? Doesn't sound like a good reference to me... Rolandius Paladin (talk - contr) 06:44, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Merge?

Since Krasus redirects to Korialstrasz, Victor Nefarius to Nefarian, Sinestra to Sintharia, Rhea to Rheastrasza, so why Katrana and Daval have their own articles? --Mordecay (talk) 12:27, 30 April 2016 (UTC)

I also happen to find it strange how Katrana and Daval's articles don't even mention that they are just the human names/disguises of prominent black dragons until about halfway down the page, and instead treat them as actual human nobles in the lead sections. -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 14:39, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
I think it was done to hide spoilers back in the day. --Dusksworn (talk) 14:45, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
That could be why yeah. For consistency's sake, they probably should be mergerd yeah. PeterWind (talk) 18:41, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
Agreed they should be merged Xporc (talk) 19:39, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
