Detail

From the lead paragraph, with italics added for focus;

It is a culminating event for the Alliance to occur before the release of the next expansion, Cataclysm, slated for patch 3.9.0.

I cannot find the explicit Blizzard statement regarding this being IN 3.9.0. At the time of the announcement (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=23766990257&sid=1&pageNo=1) the URLs including /3p9/ was used to infer patch 3.9 . Was there confirmation? The quests are active in the PTR for patch 3.5 . 'speculated' or 'assumed' might be a better choice than 'slated'.

No confirmation except the url was given, but administrators deemed it enough to say those events are to happen for 3.9.0.

What patch is this released in?

Since it's live now and as per the patch notes it's still patch 3.3.3a? -=- IconSmall DrakeAzure Drazisil [t/c]

I meant patch 3.3.5. -=- IconSmall DrakeAzure Drazisil [t/c] 22:36, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
Yep. 3.3.5 is the official patch date. It may have undergone some hotfixes or who knows what between the time they snuck it onto our machines and now, but 3.3.5 is the latest "patch". --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 23:06, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
All the existing Operation: Gnomeregan and Zalazane's Fall pages should now have consistent patch notes. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 23:11, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

Quests are no longer available

This event appears to be over. Reports I read indicated that it ended with patch 4.0.1. Perhaps somebody should change the text to past tense? MaxWilder (talk) 03:28, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

Whether the info is changed to past tense or not... that big tag on the top of page says its gone. SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 03:31, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
Wow, I have become so desensitized to those big tags that I didn't even see that. The vast, vast majority of those tags are in relation to things I don't give a crap about (i.e. "This article is a stub", "This article needs clean up", whatever). Perhaps this is a topic for higher level discussion. To me, those tags are for Wiki alerts, not content updates. MaxWilder (talk) 17:46, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
