A few minor corrections I fixed row colors so the alternate I also added this to the Category:Weapon Sets since it contains weapons. Still left it in the Category:Wearable Sets as that works as well. I did remove it from Category:Fist Weapons only because that would be the place to list the individual item and not the whole set. --BaldMonkey 16:06, 30 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Is there any lore on this Eskhandar person/thing? I haven't seen any, so wondering if it exists and I just missed it. LwoodY2K 04:05, 9 Feb 2006 (EST)

I don't know, but I just noticed the name in the Warcraft: Orcs and Humans ending credits in the Special Thanks To... section (the last one). It's probably some sort of inside joke - perhaps Eskhandar is the name of the cat of one of the original game developers? Meh, go figure ^.^ --Dorenthas 23:01, 15 October 2006 (EDT)
Finally someone else noticed the Mystery of Eskhandar I thought it was someone cat too, maybe inspiration for one of the developers--Syteless 01:38, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
At the bottom of this page I commented about this set name:
"perhaps Eskhandar is the name of the cat of one of the original game developers"
Dorenthas is correct. Eskhandar was the name of a developer's cat.

The cat belonged to the programmer who did the combat system and game balance for WoW. The same programmer worked on Warcraft. Eskhandar was alive during Warcraft but got sick and died some time between the two games.

P.S. This is not the real Eskhandar, but he looked very much like this:

Seems a pretty damn crappy set, for it being epic. CJ 04:38, 13 Mar 2006 (EST)

Not sure this comment should be on wowwiki.com. This wiki is a data center to gather info, not a forum for voicing one's opinion. I don't think I have the moral authority to remove the comment, I'll leave it alone for someone else to remove. --Dorenthas 23:01, 15 October 2006 (EDT)
