Move

I agree this page should move to violet hold while the dungeons should be named after the expansions they were added. as example "Violet Hold (Legion)" (Yuvalal (talk) 08:54, 14 May 2020 (UTC))

I wouldn't mind seeing this page moved to just "Violet Hold", with the WotLK dungeon at "Violet Hold (instance)" and the Legion dungeon staying at "Assault on Violet Hold" as it's name already differs. PeterWind (talk) 09:11, 14 May 2020 (UTC)

The "Violet Hold (lore)" can be moved with a bot without problems once all the other pages are OK. It is the "Violet Hold" links that should be manually checked. I think I was the one who started to move all these links but I eventually left it hanging. Well, at least it is not a Quel'Thalas and Gilneas scope. A bot can be used to speed up the process, like processing every pages in the "Violet Hold items", "Violet Hold mobs" and "Violet Hold NPCs" categories but the rest will have to be done by hand Xporc (talk) 13:44, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

Looks like a bot ran through the links/categories discussed above a while ago. Current links to [Violet Hold] are lore articles, the Dalaran subzone, and general mentions not related to the two instances. There are also some links that point to [Violet Hold] but talk about the Legion quest scenarios, like   [45] In Defense of Dalaran, and   [10-45] By Any Means, and a mage quest. Should those be changed to [Assault on Violet Hold] or is [Violet Hold] ok with scenarios?
