The Battle for Argus Begins is the prologue cinematic for World of Warcraft Patch 7.3: Shadows of Argus. Although it is not considered to be the official trailer for Patch 7.3 - which reuses both audio and visuals from other cinematics and cutscenes - it serves the same purpose as previous patch trailers nonetheless. It shows the Prophet Velen preparing to invade Argus via the Vindicaar, with Illidan Stormrage questioning his past decisions.

Grand Artificer Rommul approaches the Prophet Velen aboard the Vindicaar.
Grand Artificer Romuul: All forces are on board and accounted for. The Vindicaar will be ready to depart shortly.
Prophet Velen: After we reach Argus, we will meet with the Army of the Light, and begin our invasion.
As the two speak, Illidan Stormrage's footsteps are heard on the nearby platform above them, and he stares down at the Prophet. Velen nods to Romuul, who departs. Illidan crosses his arms as he addresses Velen.
Illidan Stormrage: Does he understand what you're truly asking of him? Do any of them?
Prophet Velen: We follow the path of the Light, no matter where it leads.
Illidan Stormrage: Your faith has always been your weakness.
A vision of Eredath flashes before Velen's eyes: the moment when Sargeras offered to the Triumvirate a place in the Burning Legion for the eredar.
Illidan Stormrage: When your closest allies fell to darkness... you didn't stop them.
The vision shifts, depicting the Legion's invasion of Eredath. Velen looks on from afar as his people are slaughtered in the streets below.
Illidan Stormrage: When the Legion swept over your world and took your people, you didn't make a stand. All you did was watch, convinced you were following the Light's will.
The vision fades away, with Velen saddened by the recollection.
Illidan Stormrage: The truth is, you failed your people. Their blood is on your hands.
Velen angrily stamps his staff into the ground, glaring at Illidan.
Prophet Velen: You will never understand what I did to save my people!
Illidan Stormrage: The Light is holding you back. It's time to forge your own path.
Romuul approaches from behind the two.
Grand Artificer Romuul: Prophet, we are ready.
Prophet Velen: Proceed.
The Vindicaar begins to power up, taking off with a burst of light. It rockets out of Azeroth's atmosphere, flying towards the planet of Argus and eventually coming to a sudden stop within Krokuun. Illidan and Velen scan the planet's surroundings.
Illidan Stormrage: Where is your Army of the Light?
Suddenly, a golden glow appears emerges on the horizon, and the Xenedar appears.
Prophet Velen: The Xenedar!
Velen seems suspicious for a moment, squinting.
Prophet Velen: Something is wrong...
Chief Engineer Ishkar appears on the surface of the planet.
Chief Engineer Ishkar: Ah... The cowards have come out of hiding. Bring them down!
After Ishkar gives the order, a Legion siege weapon targets the Xenedar, firing a blast of fel. Velen watches on in horror as it lands a direct hit, causing the Xenedar to plummet and crash against a nearby mountainside.
Grand Artificer Romuul: The Legion will fire again soon! What are your orders, Prophet?
Velen and Illidan exchange looks.
Prophet Velen: We make our stand! The last battle for Argus... has begun.
