The Sand Queen is the first boss of Tol Dagor. She first appeared during the quest  [10-60] Out Like Flynn as the Alliance adventurer and Flynn Fairwind escaped the prison of Tol Dagor.

Adventure Guide

Little is known about the monstrosity that lives in the sands surrounding the prison. No prisoners have ever survived an escape attempt, guards only finding discarded clothing and bones.

Overview

The Sand Queen creates Sand Traps around her enemies to isolate and incapacitate her prey. She also dives beneath the sands with Upheaval and springs up underneath victims.

Damage Dealers

• Avoid running into Sand Trap as they can litter the field.
• Upheaval inflicts high damage in an area around The Sand Queen's target.

Healers

• Beware of high incoming damage when The Sand Queen gains Enrage!
• Avoid running into Sand Trap as they can litter the field.

• Beware of high incoming damage when The Sand Queen gains Enrage!

Abilities

• Call of the Sand Queen  — Each of the Sand Queen's abillities call forth a Buzzing Drone to assist her.
  • Buzzing Drone
    •  Itchy Bite — Bites cover an enemy, inflicting 5 Physical damage immediately, with an additional 0 Physical damage every 2 sec for 8 sec.
    •  Enrage  — Whenever a Buzzing Drone dies nearby The Sand Queen, she enrages and gains 5% damage done and 5% Haste for 4 sec. This effect stacks.
•  Sand Trap  — Calls forth sand traps beneath all players for 4 sec. Coming into contact with a sand trap inflicts 25 Nature damage, knocking the target into the air and stunning them for 4 sec.
•  Sandstorm — Creates a large sandstorm, inflicting 5 Nature damage to all enemies every 2 sec for 12 sec.
•  Upheaval — Disappears beneath the sand, exploding up underneath a player. This eruption inflicts 39 Nature damage and knocks all targets upwards.
•  Enrage  — Upon reaching 30% remaining health, The Sand Queen enrages, gaining 30% haste and 30% damage done.
